The Shed

The Shed is the new community building in Cotteridge Park.

Staffed by volunteers, it’s the base for all the activities that go on in the park.

And it’s the best place to go to find out what’s going on.

It also has toilets, hot drinks and somewhere to sit down.

New volunteers are always welcome.

The Shed is open when there are activities on and as often as volunteers allow at other times. You can find out when The Shed is open by looking at our timetable. Check the banner at the top of this website for today’s activities and Shed opening hours.

The Shed: your friendly community hubg

The Shed is two years old this year,
Now where did that time go?

It’s brought so much to Cotteridge Park
But this you may not know …

The Shed’s a base for park pursuits
With bonus chairs and cheers,

And every tea, ice-cream and smile
Is served by volunteers.

The Shed can’t be a café
With open all-day hours.

It’s run on kindness, fuelled by love:
They’re its superpowers.

We wish it could be open
When you really need the loo,

But to do that needs more helpers -
Could one of them be you?
