CoCoMAD 2025!
Click here to see the CoCoMAD festival programme with all the details of what's on. Plus plenty of extra surprises on the day.
CoCoMAD Needs Volunteers
CoCoMAD can't happen without a huge team of volunteers.
Can you give a couple of hours on the day to help set up or tidy up, shake buckets or collect litter?
Click on this link to volunteer.
CoCoMAD Celebrations
Is CoCoMAD on your birthday or wedding anniversay? Want to say "thank you" or congratulate someone? Send the details to info@cotteridgepark.org.uk and we'll try to organise a "shout out" from the stage.
How is CoCoMAD Free?
Because it's important that no one is excluded from joining in because they can't afford to buy a ticket it's free to come to CoCoMAD.
Obviously CoCoMAD is not free. CoCoMAD 2025 is going to cost about £34k.
CoCoMAD is paid for by the businesses that sponsor the programme, the stalls that sell things and some grants, but it's not quite enough. If everyone who comes to CoCoMAD donated £3 then we'd have it paid for.
You can donate before CoCoMAD by clicking on this link or the Just Giving link below.
You can donate online, by card or cash at The Shed or by direct debit
You can donate securely online via Just Giving by clicking on this button.
Or you can donate on the day by putting cash in a bucket or finding one of the card donation machines.
Useful CoCoMAD Info
CoCoMAD starts at 12pm and the last band finishes at 7.30pm.
All the people you see running around are volunteers. Some of them have been on site since 6am. Give them a smile, a round of applause, a cake - be nice to them!
Don't drive to CoCoMAD - there is NO parking. It's a local festival for local people or those prepared to cycle, walk or use public transport.
Birmingham Bike Foundry will be at the Bike Park on the tennis courts with Dr Bike for basic repairs and adjustments
There are lots of delicious food options at CoCoMAD and you are welcome to bring picnics - but for safety reasons don't bring BBQs or camping stoves.
We're trying our best to keep waste to minimum but we need your help. Please take your rubbish and recycling home with you, bags will be provided.
Don't sit on the "white hatched areas"
these are emergency exit routes
Don't bring tents or gazebos to the Main Field - they block the exit routes and the view. There is "camp" space next to the All About Swing Marquee.
One way to save on waste is to get a reusable cup when you buy your 1st beer from Attic Brew or Brimingham Brewing at the bar on the basketball court you will be charged £2 for a reusable cup - your very own CoCoMAD souvenir.
Lost children & people
LOST PEOPLE - you can pick up a wristband for children at the Info Tent in the Main Field or Event Control at The Shed. Add your phone number & take a photo of the code on the band and it will help reunite you. LOST PEOPLE ARE AT THE SHED
STAY SAFE AT CoCoMAD
CoCoMAD is a very safe place to be, but take sensible precations
1. Only bring with you what you can afford to lose
2. Keep cash and possessions on you
3. Don't leave bags unattended
4. Protect your mobile phone - keep it in a zipped pocket.
Thanks to our friends at Birmingham Parks for helping us get the park looking good, organising a safe CoCoMAD and painting the white lines!
