NEW: The Shed is open
The Shed has toilets and sells hot and cold drinks, biscuits & ice creams.
All the income generated by The Shed goes back to the park to pay for activities.
The Shed is staffed by volunteers – so opening hours depend on volunteer availability.
We are hoping to be open at weekends, after school and with organised activities (eg tai chi and swingfit). Check Facebook and Twitter for opening hours.
Thanks to lots of generous donations the building is all paid for.
You can donate, securely, to support the work of the volunteers on our Just Giving page
Covid-Safe Activities in Cotteridge Park
Tai Chi -Thursdays 10.30am – gentle exercise for all ages and abilities, beginners always welcome.
Gardening volunteers – Tuesdays at 10am & Sundays at 10.15am. No tools or experience necessary.
Baby Stroll – Tuesdays at 10.30am – walk round the park with other parents. Meet at the car park entrance.
DIY Forest School – Every Wednesday we have a leaflet available for a new forest school activity. Collect it from The Shed.
Meet at The Shed (except for Baby Stroll). Don’t come to any of the sessions if you, or household members, have any covid symptoms and remember to stay at least 2m away from people not in your household.
All these sessions are free to attend (as we don’t want to put anyone off coming along) but they cost to put on. If you can afford to make a regular or one-off donation it means we can keep providing free sessions for all.
