You can do all sorts of activities in Cotteridge Park to keep you healthier & happier.  From digging to tai chi – it’s all here for you for free.  Here are the details of some of the regular FREE activities in the park.

But don’t forget there are the tennis & basketball courts, the boules area (by the car park), the skate ramps and all those paths for walking and running.



GreenFit Baby and Baby Stroll

GreenFit Baby is at 9.30am on Wednesdays – a great way to get some fresh air, a little exercise & meet other parents & carers.   Meet at the Car Park entrance at 9.30am.  Comfortable clothes and sensible footwear needed.

And now there is a NEW beginners class – Baby Stroll – like it says, a stroll and a chat with other new parents.  Meet at the Orchard at 11am.

Couch to 5k

Do you want to give running a go as a way to get fit and make new friends?

The Couch to 5k course in Cotteridge Park can get anyone off the sofa and running 5k in 9 weeks.

Come and join this really supportive and friendly running group.

SwingFit on Wednesdays at 6pm.  Wiggle those hips, tap your toes and dance yourself fitter.

This session is suitable for all ages and it’s perfect for beginners.  Put on your (comfortable) dancing shoes and join in.

Meet on the grass by the tennis courts. In the Winter in bad weather we meet at the Cadbury Club

Sunday and Tuesday Conservation Volunteers

Join the Sunday Volunteers – digging, weeding & planting.  Activities to suit all ages & abilities.  Sundays at 10.15am.  Meet at the Orchard.  Clothes that can get mucky and wellies or walking boots are needed.  Bring gloves if you have your own.  All tools provided.

Tuesdays – meet at the shed at 10am

Tai Chi

Tai Chi on Thursdays starts at 10.30am.  It is a form of gentle exercise that combines deep breathing & relaxation techniques with slow, graceful movements.These sessions are suitable for beginners, just wear comfortable clothes & shoes. Walking Group

For a gentle stroll, with like-minded people meet at the car park at 10am on Thursdays.  No special shoes or equipment needed.
