The Friends of Cotteridge Park is a registered charity. All the work of the group is done by volunteers for the benefit of the community that is served by the park.
Membership is open to anyone who agrees with the charity’s objects.
“The charity’s objects (‘the objects’) are
For the benefit of the inhabitants of the surrounding area of Cotteridge Park and visitors to
the area (“the beneficiaries”), the promotion of the provision of facilities for education,
recreation and other leisure time occupation in the interests of social welfare with the
object of improving the conditions of life for the beneficiaries without distinction of sex or
of political, religious or other opinions in particular but not exclusively by:
a.) The promotion, support and improvement of Cotteridge Park.
b) Organising programmes of physical, educational, creative and other activities in the
interests of social welfare, primarily in and around the park.”
Everyone is welcome to come to meetings and volunteer. However, if you would like to vote at meetings or submit motions to the AGM you need to be a member. Membership is free. Meeting Dates - 2019-2020
Meeting venue is the new building. All meetings usually start at 7.30pm. Unless otherwise specified. Check emails for confirmation of venues and dates.
Annual General Meeting – Friday 19th June 2020 (on zoom – email for details)
General Meeting – Monday 12th October 2020
There are also Trustee meetings 4 times a year. You are welcome to get in touch about those if you are interested in becoming a trustee or have a matter that you would like the trustees to consider.
